YaLoan Review 2026: Is It Legit and Is There an App?
YaLoan does not lend you money itself. It sends your application to lenders. Here is what that means for your costs, your approval and your data.
Published September 1, 2026 · updated November 1, 2026
You searched "YaLoan app" because a friend said you can get your first loan at 0% interest with just one valid ID. Before you type your name, mobile number and ID details into a form, it helps to know what YaLoan actually is and who you will owe money to.
YaLoan, at yaloan.online, is a loan-matching website. It does not lend its own money. You fill in one application, and the site passes it to lenders that may make you an offer. Its own footer says the site "is not affiliated with any financial institution nor does it offer any financial services." That model can save you time, and it also changes who you deal with after you press submit.
We are a comparison site, and YaLoan is one of our partners, so we may earn a referral fee if you apply through our links. The facts below come from yaloan.online and Google Play as we checked them on 1 November 2026.

| Loan amount | ₱1,000 to ₱50,000 |
| Term | 3 to 12 months |
| Annual interest | 24% to 143%, set by the lender |
| Who can apply | Ages 21 to 70, Philippine residents |
| Documents | 1 valid ID, no income verification |
| Payout | E-wallet or bank account |
| First loan | 0% interest if repaid on the first due date |
How YaLoan works
The site describes the process in three steps:
- Fill in a short registration form on yaloan.online.
- Get offers. YaLoan says it matches you with "hundreds of loan offers from different lenders", and that you can apply to several at once.
- If a lender approves you, the money goes to your e-wallet or bank account.
Step 2 is the one that matters. The offer, the interest rate, the fees, the due dates and the way unpaid loans are collected all belong to the lender that approves you, not to YaLoan. Your contract is with that lender. Read its name on the offer screen and check it before you accept.
Key point. With a matching site, "Is YaLoan legit?" is really two questions: is the website clear about what it does, and is the lender behind your offer registered with the SEC?
YaLoan requirements
YaLoan lists these eligibility criteria on its homepage:
- Age 21 to 70
- Philippine resident
- Employed, self-employed or working in the public sector
- A valid bank or e-wallet account
- Any credit history accepted
The site also says only one valid ID is needed and that there is no income verification. That describes YaLoan's own form. The lender that reviews your application can still ask for more, such as a selfie, a second ID or proof of income, so keep those ready. Our guide to documents needed for an online loan explains what lenders usually ask for.
Is there a YaLoan app?
Not as a loan app, as far as we can see. Applications run on the website yaloan.online. On Google Play, the listing called "Yaloan: Finance Tracker" (developer shown as Pera Cat, last updated 13 July 2026) is described as a personal finance tracker: it records income and expenses, keeps the data on your phone and needs no account. Its description does not mention loans.
So you do not need to install anything to apply. And if a website, Facebook page or chat message offers you a "YaLoan loan app" as a downloadable APK file, do not install it. Loan apps from outside Google Play and the App Store are a common route for scams and for apps that read your contacts. Our list of loan scam red flags covers the warning signs.
Is YaLoan legit?
YaLoan is not a lender, so you will not find it on the SEC's list of lending companies. That is normal for a matching service. What matters is the lender behind your offer: check its name on the SEC list before you accept. Our guide to legit loan apps in the Philippines shows how to do it in two minutes.
Here is what we found when we checked the site on 1 November 2026:
- It lists an address in Binondo, Manila, the e-mail info@yaloan.online and the phone number (02) 322-1115.
- Its links to the Terms & Conditions, the Privacy Policy and the lender certificates in the footer all returned a "404 Not Found" error.
- The homepage says your personal information "is not shared with third parties". A matching service still has to pass your application to lenders to get you offers, so it is worth reading the privacy policy to see who receives your data.
You should be able to read the terms and the privacy policy before you hand over personal data. Try the links again before you apply, or ask info@yaloan.online for a copy.
How much does a YaLoan loan cost?
YaLoan publishes a range, not a single price: an annual interest rate of 24% to 143%, terms of 3 to 12 months and amounts of ₱1,000 to ₱50,000. Its own worked example is ₱25,000 for 3 months at 0.16% a day, which costs ₱3,650 in interest, or ₱9,550 a month.
Using the published range and the same simple-interest method as that example (3 months counted as 91.25 days), a 3-month loan would cost roughly:
| Loan for 3 months | Interest at 24% a year | Interest at 143% a year |
|---|---|---|
| ₱5,000 | ₱300 | ₱1,788 |
| ₱10,000 | ₱600 | ₱3,575 |
| ₱25,000 | ₱1,500 | ₱8,938 |
Your real offer depends on the lender, so use this as a sense check. If an offer for ₱10,000 over 3 months costs much more than ₱3,575 in interest, it sits outside YaLoan's own published range, and you should ask why before you sign.
Loans of ₱10,000 or less with terms of up to four months are also covered by SEC limits: total charges of no more than 12% a month, which is about ₱3,600 on ₱10,000 over 3 months, and late penalties of no more than 5% a month. Our interest rate cap explainer has the full rules.
Know your number, then compare. YaLoan is one route to an offer. Our other partners publish their own amounts and terms, so you can compare totals before you commit.
Compare offersThe 0% first loan, explained
The homepage promises "First Online Loan 0% Interest", with the condition "0% interest if you pay back on the first payment date". Two things follow from that. The 0% applies only if you repay in full on time, and if you miss that date, normal interest applies. And because the lender sets the terms, not YaLoan, check that your own offer screen shows ₱0 interest before you accept. Our Finami review explains how promotional first loans work and what tends to happen on loan number two.
Late payment
YaLoan's homepage warns that a delay can cost 0.1% to 1% of the loan amount for each day, and that long delays can be passed to collectors. On a ₱10,000 loan, 30 days late at 1% a day would mean ₱3,000 in penalties. For loans covered by the SEC caps, late penalties are limited to 5% a month, so ask the lender which rule applies to your loan. If you are already behind, read what happens when you miss an online loan payment.
Want to try your own amount and term? The calculator below uses a general illustrative rate, not a quote from YaLoan or any lender. Use the table above for YaLoan's published range.

How to apply through YaLoan
- Start from our YaLoan page or type yaloan.online yourself. Do not follow links that strangers send you.
- Choose an amount and fill in the short form.
- Read each offer. Write down the lender's name, the amount you receive, the total to repay and the due dates.
- Check that lender on the SEC list.
- Accept only one offer, and only one you can repay in full, even if several lenders approve you.
How to pay a YaLoan loan
You do not repay YaLoan. You repay the lender that approved you, using the payment channels listed in your loan agreement or in that lender's app. Online lenders in the Philippines commonly accept e-wallets such as GCash and Maya, payment centers and bank transfers. Keep every receipt and reference number. Never send a payment to a personal account, or to anyone who messages you claiming to be from "YaLoan collections".
YaLoan customer service
For questions about the website or your application, YaLoan lists info@yaloan.online and (02) 322-1115. For anything about an approved loan, such as your balance, payments or collection, contact the lender named in your agreement, because YaLoan does not hold your loan. If a collector shames or threatens you, here is how to report online loan harassment.
Real-life scenarios
Ana, 24, online seller. Her income lands in GCash and she has no payslip. YaLoan's form does not verify income, so she can submit. If two lenders make offers, she compares the totals, takes the cheaper one and checks that lender on the SEC list first.
Rico, 20, part-time barista. YaLoan's minimum age is 21, so he cannot apply yet. Our first-time borrower guide covers options that may fit him.
Liza, 35, office worker who needs ₱30,000. YaLoan lists amounts up to ₱50,000, more than most of our other partners. Above ₱10,000 the SEC small-loan cap does not apply, so YaLoan's published range of 24% to 143% a year is the main guardrail she can see in advance. She should compare at least two offers before signing.
When not to use it. If you only need ₱3,000 for two weeks, a 3-month minimum term can mean paying interest for longer than you need. Check whether early repayment is free on the offer, or look at a shorter loan or a bank or pawnshop alternative.
Pros and risks

- The 0% first loan applies only if you repay on the first payment date
- Late penalties of up to 1% of the loan amount a day
- There is no YaLoan loan app on Google Play; the listing with that name is a finance tracker
